1963-ம் ஆண்டு கேரள மாநிலம், திருவனந்தபுரம் மாவட்டம். உச்சக்கடை என்ற ஊரில் திரு நாராயணன், திருமதி சங்கரி தம்பதிகளுக்கு மகனாக பிறந்து ஸ்ரீ நாராயண குருவின் அருளாசி பெற்று தன்னுடைய இளம் பிராயத்திலேயே வேத பாடசாலையில் வேதங்கள் பயின்று, தன்னுடைய 13-ம் வயதில் ஸ்ரீ ஐயப்பனால் ஈர்க்கப்பட்டு தொடர்ந்து சபரிமலைக்கு சென்றுவந்த திரு ஈ.ச. சுகுமாரன் என்ற இளைஞன் தனது 23-ம் வயதில் வியாபார நிமித்தமாக சென்னை வந்து வில்லிவாக்கம் ஸ்டேஷன் ரோட்டிலுள்ள இன்றைய வெங்கடேஸ்வரா ஹோட்டலில் அறையை எடுத்து தொழில் செய்து வந்த திரு ஈ.ச. சுகுமாரன் என்ற அந்த இளைஞனே ஸ்ரீ ஐயப்பன் கோவில் , வில்லிவாக்கம், சென்னை - 600 049 உருவானதற்கு முழுமுதற் காரண கர்த்தா ஆவார்.மேற்படி இடத்தில் ஓரு பஜனை மடம் உருவாக்கப்பட்டு குருசாமி திரு ஈ.ச. சுகுமாரன் அவர்களால் பூஜைகள், வழிபாடுகள் துவங்கி
